Hello everyone, I have the chance to buy a black 1719 custom legend for a very good price and I'm trying to figure out if it's an original or a 30th anniversary reissue; any clues as to what I should look for? I'm also the proud owner of an Adamas II 1681-2 which adore!

Location: Tennessee		They didn't do any black reissues. Yours would be original. What preamp do you have?

Location: Tennessee		Great vintage! Probably somewhere between about 1985 and 1995. You can tell exactly by the serial number. But grab it if you can ... sounds like a great find.

Well, a 1719 custom legend in almost mint condition with the carved bridge, abalone pearl inlays and ebony fretboard for 300$ canadian is pretty close to a bargain if you ask me...!

And you were right Bobbo, it's a 1985 according to serial no.
