If you are close enough to the Seller, you can see it, play it, they usually ask for Cash, so check it carefully. I bought mine from a wonderful person in WI, and I used PayPal, if you have any disputes, they take care of it. Take pictures of the box unopened, and then pictures as you open each layer, if it is poorly packed, or the box badly damaged, get pictures of everything. Luckily, this is an Adamas and will take more abuse in shipping than a regular wood top! Good Luck Ovie!! It is a Beauty!! ![]()

When I got my Adamas I just tore the box open as fast as I could cause I wanted to play it!! I might have set some sort of a record for speed unwrapping! LOL!!!! I can just see that!! Newspaper and Bubblewrap flying furiously into the air, only to be hit by the next handful, and bounced back up again!! The Mad UnWrapper!! LOL!!! I have actually learned to take pictures AS I WRAP now too, there is a woman in the UK that was buying horses from me, and every time she got one of my really expensive horses, she would write and tell me that it had arrived broken or cracked. There was no way, not when I was sending many to Germany, Canada, Australia and all over the world, and not a single one was damaged in any way, shape or form. I pack like a Pro, and I LOVE these horses, I learned from the Best Packer/Shipper in the Hobby! This woman would not send me a picture of the damage, and demanded money to get it fixed by another artist, but then I would see her reselling the exact same horse a week later and for $700-$1000 more!!! Scammer - she got blocked! But because of her, I take pictures of each level of wrapping and packing, and the outside of the finished box, so that I can prove to the Post Office that they left here packed and ready for WW3!!

I do believe the amount of newspaper with which that fine gentleman enclosed that Adamas would qualify for a world record!! Not to mention that it was double boxed with who knows what in between!!

I do believe the amount of newspaper with which that fine gentleman enclosed that Adamas would qualify for a world record!! Not to mention that it was double boxed with who knows what in between!! He double boxed it??? The Man is a Packing God!!! LOL!!! I think most people, especially the ones that love what they are sending, want it to get there safely. Really, the only problem I have ever had buying and shipping was that idiot in Chicago with the Patriot, otherwise, every guitar that has come here, has been very well packed! (The Crack Curse doesn't count, that was because of the weather, they were packed perfectly!) And you can't help but get excited, right??? ![]() ![]() I am all excited waiting, oh! so patiently, for a big box from CT maybe next month, or the next, and I won't have to wait long for it to warm up by then, so I can tear into that one like you did with yours!!! I can't wait!!! ![]() ![]()

It was listed for $450.00. It wasn't mine, but it belonged to a guy I know. Edited by AdamasW597 2016-02-27 9:01 AM

He had sent his back five or six times to the mothership to reglue bracing. There was no name. In my part of the country, you try to know all of the Adamii, there are a few more but not many.

So I'll have to wait till next week to have a go at it. I was by the factory Monday and they had a bunch ready to go, just waiting for labels. Edited by Beal 2016-03-02 6:06 AM

Also, I know the Founding Fathers here all have their Special Numbers that they order each time, and the OFC II went to #8, so I was hopeful that there would not be a problem getting my #9! ![]() ![]() ![]()
