I have pondered, but can't figure it out. On the far left of forum posts the color of the little head stock icon varies from post to post. I'm just curious to know what the colors mean (though I'm sure the answer will result in a palm slap to the forehead).

The yellow headstocks mean that there are new posts in that thread since your last visit. No idea what the red vs. blue means, though.
