Joined: February 2014 Posts: 714 Location: moline, illinois | Hey guys I added another guitar to my collection this week, its a 1996 Adamas II 1885-5 12 string. Its in excellent condition and i've been wanting an adamas 12 string for awhile and I have to say this guitar does not disappoint in any way. This is my first shallow bowl and I'm impressed with the tone and volume from such a thin body plus its extremely comfortable to play,I've been an avid deep bowl fan for years but getting older my shoulder bothers me after awhile so this guitar is awesome feeling. I have read the adamas have vibrometer numbers but am not sure how the different numbers represent what kind of tone it produces so for anyone in the know this guitar has an 85 after the model number and I'm curious what that refelects.1885-5 85 I'm not into numerology but I like that sequence. And some pics for all to enjoy. Been literally around the world and my companion on many deployments while in the military. All climates and all kinds of weather, never missed a beat or gave me the first sign of trouble.
