| I don't know when it happened, but I just noticed a about an inch or two crack between the top of my elite t and the back. Probably this was caused by heat and the top expanding or something? Should I just fill it in with wood glue and everything will be fine or what? It's scary! |

Location: Tennessee | Did you buy it new? If so, pack it off to CT under warranty. Didn't buy it new? Pack it off to CT and have them advise you. |

Location: south east Michigan | If you hold the liftetime warranty on that USA made EliteT.... use it.
If you are not covered by the warrenty the service department at the factory is still very reasonably priced.
Don't try to do a patchwork job on your own. |

| Seriously? It's not a very big crack... a little glue won't hold it? This sucks. How much do you think the factory would charge? ):
I bought it used like a year ago from a guy on this forum, so I don't have the warranty. |

You have a USO. You believe it is an easy fix.
If it is an easy fix, the folks in CT may not charge much. I don't know your finances. I don't where you live. So I don't know how much your shipping will be. But I figure that the Ovation folks would do a good job, and guarantee it.
And they might throw in alittle tune-up.
I don't know what I would do... But I would look into a trip to CT.
Even a bit of money might be worth it to avoid damaging a spendy guitar. And after they work on it, it might come home with a Warranty!
Something to think about... |

| That's true. Any estimates? Is there somewhere I can email or call to ask them about it? |
