Same thing happened to me. Both scanned to the delivery truck at the same time, but the goodies box arrived six hours before the guitar. Must be the way they are arranged on the truck. Still worth the wait.

Again... Good story.
Like giving birth. The long wait. The "door" was wide open. Got some stuff early, then nothing.

They kept saying any time. I'm sure Tony is sweating and cussing. Ok, panting.

The delivery is "never" on time... THEN !!!

It's here! Everyone wants pic's. Several "relatives" were very anxious.

Lots of relief... Congrats.

Not quite analogous to a new baby. I just got word that mine has been born. (My wife forwarded an email from Al that my baby has been born.) It's a long wait from birth to delivery when you live on the left side of the country. It's a much longer wait from the time Al conceived of this.
OK, I just grossed myself out by thinking of Al conceiving. No more birth analogies. Thanks, Al.

Great stuff all around...you know, I hurt my back yesterday (again) and am in pain but I love reading this forum...it picks me up. Congrats to the new fathers and looking forward to the pic's and details, etc.
Blessings....

Number 11 scheduled to arrive on June 26. SWMBO says it can ride in her seat on the trip to San Diego. I'll plan on that, since she gets her flight paid for anyway. Maybe I'll put a hat on it and ride around with the top down. That should draw some stares.
I guess number 12 and the widenecks should be done any day if they aren't already. I've already checked the tracking number a few times, even though it hasn't moved yet.

Fingers-crossed, wideneck #9 should arrive here in southeastern Virginia tomorrow afternoon.

Pictures to follow :)

I was trying to figure out why the name was different here than it was in the index. Welcome to the mainland.

Karl, did you hear something about the case? Is the wait almost over for them?

Everybody who's getting an OFC slothead is going to be thrilled with it. And that's really saying something for an old wood topped guy like me. Al and the factory really out did themselves on these. Trust me, they are worth the wait.

Little known half-cousin of Joey's who ran the sound board for a while, until a freak accident severed the trailing 'e' from his last name. Tragic.

And here is a quiz: Ramon = pseudonym of my favorite British musician. Hey, his first name is also Paul!

Tidewater_Tim or Tim in Tidewater,

Welcome to the HOT Southeast USA. No, not the same as Hawaiian heat. Glad that you have survived the move. Would like to invite you to any future OFC events in this part of the country. MusicMishka in the VA. But don't hold that against the rest of us! :D ;)

We all look forward to meetin ya personally!

Ignore any comments from your former Bro Lanaki. :p ;)

Waskel, you´re right, his middle name is Paul. But his first name is James. And he used the pseudonym "Ramon" in the early 60s. Well, a long time ago ...

Yup, now you've got it!

Maybe you had in mind John Paul of Led Zeppelin?
