Joined: March 2002 Posts: 15677 Location: SoCal | I've got 2 acoustic 12 strings, Big Blue, my Adamas I 12, and a rebuilt 1969 Glen Campbell 12, which had a whole new body put on the old neck. It's got a hand laid shiny bowl, Adirondak spruce A braced top, and carved bridge. ![]() There's a real difference between the guitars altho' both are really wonderful. The GC is brighter, but still has a good mellow bass (a result of the A bracing). The Adamas has a deeper clearer sound. They are similar, but very different. I enjoy playing them both. | ||
