I haven't been able to listen to Freebird (or Sweet Home Alabama) for about 20 years! Playing in bands in Florida in the late 70's, I must have played that song thousands of times. And every other band I went to see played it and they played it on the radio, and they played it on the radio, and they played it on the radio.

I finally got to the point where I can listen to Smoke on the Water and Cocaine again, but Freebird triggers an involuntary response to hit the next channel button on the radio.
