Thought you guys would get a laugh out of my current electric setup...

My 1235 Eclipse hooked up to an Epiphone Valve Jr head unit courtesy of Glenn.

I don't have a speaker cab yet, so decided to build one -- modeling it to look kinda like a Gibson GA-18. It's a work in progress.. pine bottom, top, and sides are there (top not actually screwed and glued yet) .. pine plywood baffle off to the left waiting for access to the neighbors tablesaw.

Eminence 10" speaker in its shipping carton resting inside the cabinet-to-be.

Figured, what the heck, gotta try this head unit some day.. so I wired up the speaker to a jack plate, cabled it up, and gave it a try! Plays surprisingly well given that it's still in its shipping box!! That's right, the speaker is still in that white box you see inside the cab, facing out. LOL... guess I could have cut a hole in the box for a little better sound...

(apologies for the sucky phone-cam image)

That sounds like it'd be fun to play on as well as awesome to show off.
