ARRRRGH !!!! I have zero need for a VXT. BUT if one were pretty enough I would find a way to buy it. But so far they have all been pretty plain jane.

That said, last year I made a tele with a book matched front (swamp ash), nothing fancy, not a tiger eye grain, or flame, but it came out looking nice. Don't see way it can't be done here, and it would save the cost of paint, plus labor, reduce the cost a little. Could make the bean counters happy? No? |

I suspect that once these are openly released to other dealers, the possibilities'll be pretty cool . . . |

That prototype they had at the factory with the -4 finish, tort binding and 'Soloway-style' hole was FREAKING AWESOME! The Bartolini looking pups and the rubberized knobs were the finishing touches. Why they didn't offer that is...uh...well, must be marketing. :mad:
Oh well, I need an Adamas anyway. Maybe. Al? :p |
