This is my first posting. I put a short clip on YouTube playing my Ovation, but the general response has been more guitar snobbery. I could not help but notice that those complaining about my "plastic guitar" do not have any videos to share of their own. I just wanted to vent. Feel free to respond on the clip on YouTube if you would like. Thanks all! Wayne |

The best course is to continue to expand your talent and not give a damn what other people think.
Whenever someone is critical of my recording gear (which is on the pro side of the spectrum) and not being "pro" enough, I am reminded of the Beatles and all the other great music that was made on recording gear that is considered simple and not very sophisticated by todays standard but the music sounds pretty damn good to me.
It is the level of talent and performer that makes the instrument sing.....not the other way around.
Keep up the good work! |

I think you will find we discuss all guitars here with equal respect or disdain based on the quality of the instrument....not the name on the headstock.
Hang around and join it. I think you will find this to be a good group to spend some time with. |

Either way, it sounds great. And the guitar looks great too. Don't worry about the furniture snobs. |

I like the performance and thought the guitar sounded great! Wish I could play my guitars as well. Keep playing!! |
