Have been visiting the site for awhile and really enjoy it. I use to have several Ovations (wish I still had them); I had the 1982 collector model, the 1984 collector model, a UK II and a Viper. I also had a Balladeer. Unfortunely, I left the Balladeer with my son in 1997 and it was stolen. I had previously sold the others. I do have a new Applause (AE-127) and am really enjoying it. I haven't been completely out of the Kaman family as I do have a Takamine that I like very much. I have owned three Takamine's total, but only have the one. I also have two Garrison's. I really like them also. One is Canadian made (G-10) and the other (AG700) is Chinese). Both very nice IMHO. Anyway, I'm glad to be here and look forward to trying to add some more Kaman products to my "herd".

We're scattered all over the world so while one side of the planet is asleep you can bet someone on the other side is looking at this site. (Probably me as I don't seem to have a life :D ) You'll love this place and all the old dogs that Lanaki mentioned are real friendly and helpful

It's nice to have the feeling of belonging and having the association of people that are just as "crazy" as you. I forgot by the way, that I had also owned two other Ovations that I hadn't mentioned. I started out with an Applause in 1982. I had a Celebrity Elite for a while (couldn't get it setup properly) and a deep bowl a/e that had a Cadillac Green top (can't remember the model). That is definitely one I wish I had kept. So counting my current one; I've had 9. Wish they were still here. My wife gives me H--- for getting rid of them. I believe she is right! Anyway, nice to be here and thanks again for the welcome.

To go with the horses she has about 7 saddles, so she does understand. As she says - they don't eat anything so why do you get rid of them. I think I'm starting to get it!

Lot's of info here on the Tour, so my time here has been mostly tryin' to keep up with the reading. :) This coming weekend my wife and I are going to fly into Vancouver to see our son for a few hours...he's been gone since the end of February and we're really looking forward to seeing him! He's working the Vancouver to Alaska cruise now...too bad it wasn't the Hawaiian cruise! :) Have fun at the "Southern" get together. Dave

Justin (our son) says it really reminds him of home. They say Alaska in th3e summer is pretty nice. What I give for EF75 would have put us on that cruise, but, no regrets on that front. :) We'll get to see him Saturday for about 6 hours. We can bum around Vancouver for 4 hours and then he has to be back on ship for a show. We will get to see him perform for an hour, as he is getting us passes to board the ship. Then he is going to give us a tour of the ship for the last hour before they go back out to sea. Should be fun! His sister booked a couple of days off so she can come too. Be really nice to have us all together. Dave
