Our local communtiy park system had a free concert last night.

Jessie colin young appeared at the haddon heights dell (I can hear jeff w crying as I type this)
After a busy day of house renovation Sue and I went over to the show.

Great show a mixture of new and old stuff. Jessie's voice isn't as strong as it was but his guitar playing is excellent. Appeared to be having a great time. He had a full band drummer, violinist (I think it is is wife) and a bass player vito truglio who is a jersey native now living in hawaii and mysteriously looks like timm kummer's long lost brother. He also opened the show with a few tunes.

Jessie played a taylor t 5, a renaissance by rik turner and a parker. Vito played a turner bass, and a t 5, the violin was unknown and the drummer played tama drums. I was over by the sound board and the county sprung for a pro sound company with great equipment.

well it was a cool night literally and figureatively jessie now lives in south carolina he moved from hawaii if you see him touring catch the show.

That would have been great! I have liked his music for years and would have loved to have been there - and for free!! How cool is that.

Sure Al... but can ya turn the radion on, stand in just the right place with your arms in the air and get several local evangelical radio stations!?!... Try THAT in south Jersey!! Yeah, I thought so.

and... I failed to ask you on Saturday if you have heard of if Jesse Malin? Jersey boy (I think... maybe, Queens) and interesting singer song writer. Check him out, good guitar work too.
