I finally shipped my 1537(top cracks) and 1769 (top crack) to the factory. I have already become impatient. How long do top refinishes usually take?

Bad week, eh Paul?

Send your Daughter up to my house. Tell her we milk our own cows and clean our own chickens.

Of course we don't, but she doesn't need to know that!

BGM2K - Abstinence makes the heart grow fonder! Are you without a guitar for a while or do you have a therapeudic standby?

Two at the same time seems like you need to fire your Planning Manager.

Were both guitars unplayable? I ask, cuz I woulda only sent them one at a time...

If you have many guitars, the question is moot.
I wouldn't have sent all my Ovations anywhere.

The 1537 cracked during shipping and the 1769 was bought with a crack. The 1769 was unplayable. However, all of the pics poseted of "new" and beautifiul 1537s over the last couple of months made me drool so I sent it too. I do still have my 1117 and breadwinner, but the breadwinner is in pieces. My Seagull grand is getting more playing time. I had forgotten what a nice ($275.00 to the door with a hardshell case) guitar it is for the price.

Why is the BW in pieces? Send it to me and I'll duct tape the heck out of it!

Your work has inspired me to give it a shot and see what I can come up with.

1537 has returned!!! Only had about 5 minutes to play but it sounds great and looks good. Please expect more newbie questions on posting pics this weekend. :) Just kidding.

I saw one on the bench last Friday. Was it yours? Did you get a new pre-amp too?
