Hi All, Are there any member links leading to sites with mp3s of O fans performing? I'm a newbie, so I have not had a chance to listen to any music made by the members. The guitars are great to look at, but hearing them would be even better. Most music forums have songs posted every day for critiques, and for just plain old enjoyment. It would be great to hear some sounds generated from these fine instruments. Buck

There are some threads (search under home recordings) and also some members on various band sites.

I listened to a bunch of songs from the members today. Very impressive work. It would be nice to have song gallery similar to the picture gallery in the users area. I had to go through 11 pages on one thread alone. My crummy dialup takes forever to download but it was worth it. More I say! By the way, has anyone heard about the Motigater web site. They offer twenty megs of FREE space for individuals, and bands who want to share their music, or sell it, for that matter. Twenty megs is more than enough space to put up several mp3 files for streaming, or downloading. The site is very keen on folk, cajun, counrty, celtic etc. You can put up any genre you want to and they seem to be very nice people running the show. I put some originals on there and have gotten quite a few plays. I heard about it on the PG music forum. It's neat because your friends and family can visit the site and hear your stuff. Buck

There was an OFC members CD made about 3 years ago. Check around and you might find one. Dave

No I never got one. There was a lot of talk about it, but I guess it never came off. Maybe we should try again. Brad is doing such a good job with the calendar, I'm sure he wouldn't mind slapping together a few CD's now would you Brad? Dave

SHAMELESS PLUG

I have a CD of instrumental music I've done, using only Ovations (minus the bass and synths - still working on getting an O Bass).

I'd love to contribute to a compilation.

If you play it backwards it sounds like:
"Caaaaaaaawuts, Weaaaaaatus, Waaaaadishes, Ceaaalawy, Caaaaaaaawuts, Weaaaaaatus, Waaaaadishes, Ceaaalawy..."
