The good news is that I've got a fellow convert in the love for contour bowls. The bad news is that the factory is mum on building contours on additional models at any rate other than "in due time". I think they have to wait for the standard bowl bigots to retire first. I tried to pay big money for an upcharge to get one and was politely told NFW. So instead I ordered a Folklore minus the bowl, an 05 Collector minus the top and neck, and a tube of superglue. Dave

That's Awesome Dave!

I'll definately be looking forward to pictures on that one. But I think if we start a petition they might do the glue at the mothership! I do still think the round back is better looking, but as far as practical application for someone who likes to move a bit on stage, please, I'll take power steering any day! Play on, Pray for peace!!

Glenn,

Drop by the Gig Harbor Folk Festival this weekend! I think Mr. Golf got me hired as a Roady there!

I really like the 1 7/8 nut. My 1624 introduced it to me (and my OSP-1 is the same). It's a nice roomy size without too much stretch.

I seem to recall that the Classic 1(1/6)13 was the only one with a 2" nut. All the rest were 1 7/8.

In practice, Bill is right. Who the hell am I to argue. But the very first Josh White brochure (before the 5 piece neck) lists the nut width as 2 inches. I'm pretty sure this was just a typo. Dave

Except if they came from Flores, then they were hobbit sized.

Here's a 1 7/8" nut model.
