Location: Texas | I've been away for a little while, and this popped into my head to describe my trip:
Oh where have you been, my round-backed son?
Oh where have you been, my plucking old one?
I've floated down a river on a tube made of rubber,
going over the falls was an intentional blunder,
they said there's no rocks, nor anything under,
but the pain in my hand sure made be wonder…
twas a hard,
twas a hard,
twas a hard sprain at the fall…
10 days communing with nature were wonderful, a simple home-made splint kept the middle finger on my right hand in a constant state of bird-flipping for a few days until the swelling subsided… but didn't slow me down much…
…until I got home and tried to finger-pick. I guess my vacation is going to be a little extended when it comes to playing my guitars… but it seems to be getting a little better every day…
Meanwhile, I missed the celebration for member 7,000, so, a belated welcome to Nat4ever, welcome to the madhouse…
typing's a little painful too ;) |

"You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you shouldn't pick your friends' noses."
I'll only add that if you are really lucky, you can pick your friends' guitars… and around here, we sometimes even help friends pick out their guitars… |

This is, obviously, the exception-to-the-rule! |
