I would replace the electronics with something like what is in the FD-14.
Don't know if I would change the finish to a burst or not. The parlor size woody got sure looked nice. |

Location: PDX | I didn't have any problem. It's a no brainer for me -- the '97! Just be sure you change out the electronics. That touch slider thingy sucks.

Location: New Hampsha | Never having sent anything to Mother, I appreciate the input. I was leaning toward the '97 myself, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something that made the '93 more desirable.
Are you limited to original configuration, or can you opt for a burst or bling? I hope so, as I don't care for natural tops.
I am the odd man out (again), as I like the stealth electronics. |
