Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | Discovered what REALLY light strings do on an acoustic. Nashville high-strung scenario; .024, .016, .012, .009, .012, .010- bottom-to-top. Bottom-four tuned an octave higher. Quite interesting, and some real unexpected harmonics.
Anybody else playing around with this arrangement? |

Bobbo much more so.
It's the poor man's 12 string. Very "ringy - ringy".
The oddest thing I found, at least for me, was that it's tricky to sing along with. At times I've had trouble finding the right key. Makes me wonder if my brain is conditioned to listen for the base notes to set my vocals to.
It is fun to play with. |

Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | Definitely! As I'm running through a song, I wonder if Newton was right. Sometimes it goes down, instead of up! If your voice has 5 octaves, I guess there's no problem. |
