But how can anyone say that this is not a work of art?

It's a pretty one for sure Jay, not sure how costly the repair of the ring will be on top of the $1,300 he wants to start. He did have it up for $1,999 last week.

Stuart, Yep...a little too pricey, but rarely do they show up. I thought I was close to scoring one out of Arizona a year or so ago for around 600. The guy got a little squirrelly and it never happened. Not sure how they sound (has to be north of good), but aesthetically, Ovation hit it out of the ball park, right out of the gate, on the 12.

I had one just like that ... only a couple of serial numbers away. Winged bridge, small sound hole, shiny bowl. It was very loud and very "chimey".

It was a nice guitar, but I sold it as my CL12 worked much better for me and the way I play. I prefer 14 fret necks, and like to plug in. But I think this is a decent price for the guitar.

LOL...I actually meant a little to pricey for me. And that takes into consideration I would probably send her into mother to fix her rosette. Looks to be in grand condition, aside from that.
