| I have a model 1711 Ovation Standard Balladeer. No other markings. Like new condition. But, by the pre-amp to the left about 1 inch away from the pre-amp is a battery sized compartment. NO COVER. I would like to find the cover if this is where the battery goes. It has a slight curve to it. I have looked online but no help there. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Doug |

I can give you a coupla suggestions;
If you are the handyman type you can buy a generic box and replace your battery box:
https://www.amazon.com/Battery-Holder-Compartment-Guitar-Pickup/dp/B...
Or! And this would probably be the better solution...
You can contact the Ovation Repair Shop... http://www.ovationguitars.com/contact
1-800-552-4681 during East Coast business hours.
I hope this helps.

| No holder for the battery compartment. Battery just goes in fits snug and has a spring tension when you push it down. Curved compartment on face of guitar. |
