... for O's & A's.  Planet Waves/D'Addario NS Micro Clip Free. These are attached using one of the screws on your existing string tuners.

Stays put.. hangs well... great view from the playing position.

It looks to be only about 3/8" thick. Nice. I assume the edge you look at to get the reading is the end opposite the screw end? (the right-hand edge in the photo). And also wondering .. if you were to swing it upward from the angle it is positioned at in the photo, is it notched on the back side so it clears the adjacent tuner gear, or would the edges of each just rest against each other?

I have it attached to the high E tuner.
Looks like this in your lap or strap.

Pretty nifty!

I am thinking that these would be a nice addition to my acoustic-only guitars.
Good for walking around...
Don't have to worry about the Tuna falling-off the headstock.

This is the parlor that Dan just retopped for me. He put these tortoise shell buttons on to match the binding I chose.

Think this was his source:

They are really pretty!

Does not look like these can be easily taken on and off.

Don't really intend to remove these on a regular basis (have them on 2 guitars at the moment)... however, it's pretty quick to install/uninstall with one screw. Probably a minute or two.

But, yes, definitely not as mobile as a clip-on.

They are relatively inexpensive (18 bucks) so multiples are my plan.

It's not for everyone's situation I guess, but perfect for the numerous guitars I have without built in tuners.

They are small, accurate and unseen by the audience.

Nifty little tuner.

Does it get in the way when you put the guitar in a case?
