Hi all,

I've had an Ovation Matrix 1142-1 for over 15 years. Though I must admit I couldn't really play. Anyway (one of) my lock down projects has been to finally learn the guitar.

I'm really enjoying it, currently battling with the F chord, but having fun.

Thought I'd Google the guitar yesterday, and was amazed to find all this love for Ovation, who I knew nothing about.

My guitar is serial #113987, which I think makes it around 1977,from other things I've seen.

Funny thing is I thought I was learning to play on mass produced cheap affair, so nice to find it's a respected instrument.

Still keeps tune beautifully. And has a lovely rich sound.

Keep safe.
