I'm trying to replace the gold tuning buttons on my Celebrity Doubleneck. I'm looking for the pearloid ones. I replaced them on my 1868 Elite a few years ago. As you know, the 12 string buttons are smaller than the 6 string ones. Nobody can seem to find them. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Now if it's a USA real-deal 6/12 that's a horse of a different color, but I think Chris Choate and Tim in Tidewater, and Mr. Sambora are the only ones that have any of those behemoths. BC

I'll bet they're Pings...and not the better quality Pings that come with US-made Ovations. The imports get lower-end Pings. The Schaller buttons work on the better Pings, though they are not exactly the same; the shaft on the Schaller tuners is a different length than on the better Pings. I have no idea how compatible or incompatible the Schaller buttons are with the lesser Pings on the imports. If someone could send you a spare mini M6 button for you to try, then you'll know for sure.
