| Hi,
My name is Phil James and I have owned two ovation guitars. My first is a classic 1981 model which I have owned since I was a teenager and had for over 30 years.
In 1997 I bought a new adamas 1581. It has the optima preamp. I've never had any trouble with my ovation guitars until recently my adamas the battery keeps going flat. I noticed that the tuner okay light is always flashing at 50 HZ. and when I play any string the tuner is active. The tuner never seems to go off and the okay green light keeps flashing. To stop the battery going flat I have to remove it.
When I plug it in all the electronics are working fine.
Would anyone be able to tell me who I can contact for some help? I'm hoping the optima preamp does not have an internal fault and there is a simple fix?
