Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | What model Adamas was Kaki playing on the Letterman show? It was a nice looking blue cutaway with the soundholes on the upper bout only. It sounded great, and it looked cool. :D |

Location: Vernon, CT | I think it was one fo the new ones Al P. was talking about because it had the indentations of the new updated roundbacks for 2005. Good promo for Ovation and Khaki. Really excellent and unique guitar playing. Play On!

Could have had 5 minutes less of Bill Murray and a few more with her !!!

Location: NJ | Letterman VERY seldomly will bring a musical guest over for "conversation" . . .
Oftimes, he doesn't even go over and shakes hands (on camera) with a musical guest. It's usually fade-out on the applause and cut to commercial.
The last time I can recall him recently doing it was with the Vines . . |

Location: South Bend Indiana | I read in FRETS that its a custom job. She was talking about wanting the floral epulets removed and no fret markers except for the little crown ( get it, Kaki "King") at the 12th fret. That would be sweet if they made it as a sig model. |

If they DID issue it as a SigModel tomorrow . . . WOULD you buy one? . . and WHY?? |

Location: Asheville, North Carolina | I read in this months issue of Frets magazine they are custom or slightly modified versions of such. I believe also she mentions it in Acoustic Guitar magazine inwhich she is on the cover this month. Nice stuff this young lady is putting out!

Location: South Bend Indiana | Immedietly! If I could afford it without breaking the law. Or maybe....
Kidding of course. I'm not a fan of fancy stuff, and I love the absence of floral epulets and fret markers, and I love the finish. ( Anyone know what it is? ) If I was to design my own Adamas, thats pretty much what it would look like. Except for maybe a slotted headstock....mmmmm. And actually, I don't own an Ovation or an Adamas yet(eeekk!!) And that guitar is the reason I started looking for one. I've always loved the sound and playability, but never pulled the trigger on one. I think it has a classic Adamas look with some tastefull updates . Beautifull man, just beautifull. So, uh yeah, I guess that means I'd buy one. --rick |
