Thank you!!

I believe all the classical models are deep bowl.

So far, all I can find are brand new 1773 LX's (which are pretty sweet, but of course pretty expensive), or the Celebrity shallow bowl. The 2073 LX is of course a deep bowl, but at the new price as well. The Country Artist is the same price range as the LX (but a thinner neck). I guess I'll keep scouring the net...

The Ovation Classics were 2 inch nuts, 12 fret, flat fretboard, deep bowls. 1763s were cutaways. Country Artists weren't really classicals. More like nylon string guitars. A little shallower than midbowls.

c-a-f,

Within the past week I found two seemingly nice Classics on 'craigslist'. But since I have one, I didn't save the links. Besides keeping your 'ear to the ground' here on the OFC, poke deep and diligently on 'CL' and you'll find a keeper.

'CL' was where I found my Classic, Pacemaker and both Custom Legends. Just be sure to get pics and complete descriptions. You'll get many refusals and even more no-responses. But you'll get the 'feel' when the right seller is willing to cooperate.

Just don't get that 'scratch' that ya can't itch and rush into a questionable deal. Be thorough and patient. Your homework will pay off!

I'm not giving out any more of my secrets! :p

I have a 1763 that isn't getting played that I may list. Absolutely, near new. Cedar top, OP-24, deep bowl, etc.
