It would have been humorous if you'd misspelled it 'tongue.' :p

Is tung oil the stuff that gets hard like gun oil? Or, are they completely different stuffs?

very nice Michael!!! I hope to be able to master a wooden finish as well as you have in the one pictured.... someday..

I'm working on just a plastic one with a graphite and mahogany neck... ;)

yes sir.. and it has Miles', Goobers', Jerry's, and Glen's Bluebird neck.. just ordered a mojo tone harness for it and will be using a blender instead of the 3-way, alnico gretsch filtertrons for pickups, and abs 3/16 sheet stock for the pickup rings and cavity covers.. polished aluminum tele cups for the jacks.

I'm gonna do the assembly myself, and then take it over to Howie for set-up and tweaking..

Miles was the one who suggested the UKXII... and since urelite bluebird bodies are pretty much non-existent in the wild anymore, I felt the UK body would be the closest fit.
