Location: south east Michigan | Cool...I found a web-site with some contemporary uke music!!! Blue Moon and Camptown Races just do not make it. This site even has Stairway to Heaven and Sympathy for the Devil!! But my favorite is the theme to Spiderman.

Location: south east Michigan | I printed out "Stairway" and spent about 10 minutes with it. I think I have to become a better uker before I can pull that one off.
I'm going to keep track of this site. It looks like songs get added on a regular basis. |

(IF the arrangements are accurate - I've found a couple of "online" arrangements for uke that people posted with relatively simple chords, and the arrangements sound like shit - a goodly amount of these look pretty good tho' :-)
I've been thinking of doin' a couple of uke tunes at gigs (my Applause doesn't have a p/u, so I'll have to mic it with one o' those BIG ol'fashioned Shure 55's - for "funk factor"), I think a few of these tunes just might "do" . .
