The official breed is German Shepherd Mix. ![]() I made this Cigar Box Guitar two days later. I still need to mark the frets and add a pickup, but it's pretty cool. ![]() Detail of the body. The F holes took a while, but I like how they turned out.

He was already neutered and had a microchip, and the adoption came with a free physical at a local vet. After we got him home, it turns out he's already housebroken. No excessive chewing or barking, and he's calm in the bath. He's affectionate and good looking as well. Yep, I reckon he's a mutt, but a good one. Our family dog passed away a few months ago, and we were looking forward to spring break to get another, so we'd have time to spend with him.

But the plans on the internet say to get a $3.00 transducer from Radio Shack and 'lectrify it, so that should make it really ranchy. I've also got a really nice, deeper, all wood box to use for a "real" one. This box is as small as you could use, so the sound isn't very big. But with a pick, it rings out okay. I planned to make this one to get an idea how to build a better one.
