Location: Location Location Location | I know there are many string tension charts out there, but my brain just doesn't seem to work the way I need to figure out this problem. So here goes..If a light set of strings (12-53) tuned down 1/2 step has roughly 145 lbs of tension at A=440kz, what would that tension be at 444kz?
I know there are those who'd ask why would I want to tune to 1/2 step down and why would I then tune A to 444..I tune one of my guitars down 1/2 step, and then bring it up to 444kz to give it a bit more edge. The particular guitar sounds better 1/2 step down, and my singing voice has dropped down as I've gotten older, so accompanying myself singing is also better (ok, better may be a bias opinion...well, at least I can hit a few more of the high notes).
Thanks in advance! |

Location: Location Location Location | When I look at this question, I realize it's a bit of a 'if a train is traveling at 60mph passes a bus going 45 mph' situation, and maybe too much trouble to be worth the effort..But I figured I'd give it a shot. |

the train gets there first
...assuming they're both traveling the same path. To know for sure, what color shirt was the passenger in 3B hoping to buy if her Lotto ticket came in yesterday?
Hey...a shiny coin... |
