It's named the Full Buck Moon. This is when the bucks begin to grow new antlers.  Hopefully I'll see them in the early fall.

I had one jump out of the corn about 10' from me last week, and he had a full head of horns, in velvet, but he is definitely a 12-14 pointer easily. Big body too, scared the Begeebers out of both of us, the dogs were already chasing 3 Tom Turkeys, so him jumping out too really made us all jump!!

That huge moon sure was gorgeous last night though, it seemed so close too!

Location: Boise, Idaho		We had two bucks walk right past our cabin both days we were there this week. Young ones, maybe 4 points (each side).
