Location: North Bend, WA | 2ifbyC - it could be the strings, but that video was done with my dinky little Fuji F100 point and shoot camera w/built in condenser mic. All my videos sound kind of thin to me.

FWIW my strings are at least seven years old and the amp is a ten watt $40 job! How good does that make the guitar that it can sound so good in those parameters? Best bass ever IMO.
Re the sound - I played a few Magnum 1's when I bought this one (circa '94) and this one sounded the best by far. It may be a freak.
And you should have heard it with new strings through my old (long gone) Ampeg 8x10 fridge! Scary! |
