I'm bidding on a Shure Green Bullet harmonica mic and I was wondering if someone could check it out and pick it up for me? The seller won't ship to Oz.

What I would like is for a member that feels they know me to well enough to go to Rancho Palos Verdes , check that it works, pay for it and ship it here. I have no idea where Rancho Palos Verdes is.

Hopefully, I've been here long enough earn a little trust?

(AJ loaned me his UKII) (But then again, he hasn't got it back yet... :D )

That's on the West Coast, near Torrance. Moody gets up that way quite regularly. If anyone can help it'll be him, he's done stuff like this for me and others a few times. I know where it is because a few years ago we drove down the PCH from Marina Del Rey to Anaheim for the NAMM show, missed our intersection and ended up in Rancho Palas Verdes

Palos Verdes is about 50 miles away from me. If I had some work in that area, I'd be happy to go get it. But I've got nothing up there right now and I can't afford to take 2-3 hours and go look at a $45 microphone. Sorry......

Muzza, I was in RPV last Tuesday night. I might be back there next week (starting the 22nd) and if so I can have a look, but I'm in DC and Colorado this week.

P.S. If you take the Anaheim Street exit off of The Harbor Freeway (The 110) you'll wind up in Rancho Palos Verdes. Likewise if you are coming south on PCH from MDR and stay along the coastline ... PCH actually goes inland through Torrance and the road you think should be PCH goes through Palos Verdes. And yes, Palos Verdes is my hometown.

I used to sell lots of stuff out that way. One of my favorite territories back in my peddlin' days.

Bobbo, we need to stop following each other around. People are gonna talk.

I won the auction. If it works, I got a bargain.

Thanks Bobbo and Paul, but I think I'll just have to trust that it works and pay him up front.

OK then, can someone accept delivery of it for me and then send it to me?

Me too, I have a pile of AJ's stuff.

Do you want to send me some of yours as well? I'm game.

Good news, the seller has relented and will send it UPS for 25 bucks. I got me a bargain. (If it works!)

I better ship something quick. The Man/Music Room is a mess and I might actually admit that I have too many guitars...

...Not!

I tried to contact multiple shippers and find some kind of "Secret" to ship a closet full of guitars to Oz for a dollup of dollars.

I am still at the mercy of US Postal.

Anybody know any Pilots for Qwantas?
