Well, we got the crib and dresser in our son's room (due end of November) and there are these 4 Ovation cases now displaced, along with a couple of other guitars. I have got to sell some of them! I am selling my 2005 Collector's and 1984 Legend. I was going to keep them, but I don't have a "guitar room" anymore!

'05 Collector's $799
'84 Legend $250

Pics of both are in my gallery. Email me if you need more info. mattmmcgriff@msn.com

My buddy might want your legend for his son. Pics look good. Is the overall condition ok and is it a deep or mid bowl?

Going to work on my begging skills with the wife in the morn. This Legend is the right price and I really want to have another guitar I can leave tuned for some of Jimmy Page's acoustic work. Thanks for the offerings Matt.

Randy,
Gotcha

Legend sold!

Still have the 2005 Collector's! $799. In excellent condition, never played out. Kept in its case and safe and sound. It was an FRG, but is in perfect shape, no defects at all. You can get an Englemann top, abalone rosette, and Contour Bowl for less than a new balladeer! Pics are in the gallery! Email me for info.

Thanks, Randy. You got a great guitar at a great price before I even started begging. I was thinking of it as a Jim Croce Legend. A little newer than his obviously.

I was going to grab this one from you after selling my Celebrity Viper on ebay, but the buyer never paid.

You should have no problem getting your Buy it Now price, good luck.

Matt; The Legend came today. Very impressive indeed! I have only been lucky enough to have tried a few shallow body legends in the recent past and I must say they are very nice but This deep bowl Legend is one of the very best Ovation purchases I have ever made lb/per/lb.
I am currently changing the electronics on my Adamas 1 from the old three band eq set up to the op-24+ I bought from Noel. (Thanks Noel) I think I might take the three band eq & pickup I will have and put it in this! Perfect for running a signal through an Amp as well as microphone which is what I am getting used to.
Thank you for the opportunity to own a very well kept guitar. I am a true believer, now, that Ovation can certainly make a Non-Adamas Guitar that sounds absolutely fantastic!

I can't find the thread Noel started for some of his guitars for sale? So I hope you see this Noel!............. Nice old fiberglass bowl classical! This guitar has some stories to tell for sure! Sounds fantastic and it is fun to make those nylon strings viabrate once again. It has been a pleasure to business with members of this site once again!... Deals are made money exchanged and Ovations go to new homes with no worries! You've just gotta love it.
Both of these guy's (I think) still have some nice instruments for sale I can tell ya these guy's are as good as it gets!
I hope this does not sound sappy?? I am just very happy with both of these great guitars and this site has some real decent people involved here.
"A pleasure" all round Thanks

Randy

Thanks for the kind words Randy, I may well have another Ovation for sale, as I have just (tacitly) accepted a job that will force us to sell the house and move to Tampa! Times may be lean for a couple of months during the transition and ramp up, plus my wife is about to pop (with our baby boy) so I may be selling my beautiful Custom Elite I just bought from Al about a month ago. I love it, but it was bought out of pure GAS (not necessity), so thinning out the herd may call for selling off the eye (and ear) candy and just keeping lesser guitars. Keep an eye out, you may see it soon!

Hey I can say you take excellent care of your equipment.
Anyone looking for a Custom Elite this is the one you'll want! Thanks again Matt......
And Noel.... Life is an adventure for us all and even better w/guitars.
