I received a few requests to post photos of my band room.  It has been awhile so glad to do it.  The bandroom is now used weekly as a full-on practice space for our six-member band, so the floor is a bit cluttered these days.  Nonetheless, you should still get a sense of what its like here.  Kind of a cross between a junk shop and really cluttered Hard Rock Cafe.  The room is sound deadened and semi-soundproofed, humidity controlled and air conditioned, with separate electrical circuits dedicated to the sound systems and the lights.  The gigging amps are stored elsewhere.

Seems like more stuff than when I was there a couple years ago. You have to be careful not to stop on a pedal. It's sensory overload, Brad, especially with the panorama. I bet if you did a video panorama with a narration explaining what all you've got, it would take at least an hour.

The resonance you must get off of all those acoustics hanging about should sound interesting...

You make a good point, Waskel. I have always believed that it is good for the acoustics to be exposed to sound-causing vibration which essentially is like keeping them played. I don't know if this is absolutely true or not, but the theory seems sound, so to speak. Mark, the pedals are only in my corner and in front of the other guitarist, so they're out of the way of the traffic patterns, such as they are. We don't move much once we're all set.

As to the resonance from the acoustics, we never hear it because we're pretty loud as a matter of course.

I always know when Brad goes down stairs or his band is practicing...
All the lights in my house dim.

Mark, that cutaway Tak iyou ask about is the Grand OleOpry 80th Anniversary model. A cutaway jumbo with a first gen cool tube preamp. Only 80 made world wide. A lot of bling on this particular model, particularly the fret markers. This is the only jumbo I own.
