Then I started flirting with wood boxes and got accustomed to the Martin sound. Bought quite a few wood guitars and sold off all my Ovations. I just got my 1681 back home a while ago, and I must say, this is one great sounding guitar. I seem to pick it up now more often than any of the others even if it does have a "non manly" neck and slides off my lap. It's good to be back. :D

Been through a load of Cs/As but now have the "good stuff", at least for me Wood boxes offer a different thang to the round backs and that's just it; I have the guitars I have as they do it for me. I defy anyone to play my 1537 and not want it, wood box purists or otherwise

Sorry Jack. This one will be here for a while. ;) :p I really think playing an electric has gotten me used to a narrower neck, so I like the Adamas even more than before.
