I just spent way too much time on photoshop, modifying and adjusting pictures to come up with a preview of a wood-top Adamas. I placed the Adamas I neck, headstock, and bridge on a 1537 and threw in some ebony tuners. I also tried to put some of the plastic binding on the right upper top to see what it would look like.

Too much work for right now. I already spent a couple hours on it. What do you think about the Adamas binding? I kinda' like the original walnut, but with the ebony tuners it seems like the dark plastic binding would go better with it. Then again, they may not be able to use a different binding because of the wood top.

a lighter wood-toned binding would look good. using one of the shades in the epaulettes would set it off
nicely.

I'd forgotten about the samova custom. How has it opened out?

Have had it now for almost a year and it has opened up quite a bit.It is not really heavy on the bass side but it has clean ,crisp highs.I love playing it.I use elixer nanos lights and they are perfect for this guitar.

Sam, did you put a p/u in your custom job? If not, why so wide a saddle?

Samovas are real? Whew, that's a relief. I didn't think anybody was THAT good at photoshop.

Yes,there real!! And there spectacular..

Were stll talking about guitars ,right?

Moody, your good. You should be a detective or something. The guitar does not have a pick up
but does have the thicker bone saddle that fit in the wider (electric) bridge..
