This just came today, I was looking for a strictly plugged in O , and I think this is gonna fit the bill. Sounds rich and full, plays like butter and I really haven't even had much time to play with the op50 or the Bose pas eq settings.

I know, I know, TEXTURED top, but I think this will suit my needs, like I said I will mostly be played plugged in.

Very nice. When the strings wear out, try a set of Adamas silk and steel, mind sounds heaps better with those, sounded too "brassy" with the Adamas phosphor bronze. You decided not to go with the contour bowled W2097 ?

Richard, I'll have to give the silk & steel's a try, and the w597 was kinda in my sights from the get-go.

Problem for me is, since my wife started singing with me in our group, she knows what guitars look like. So they don't all look the same to her anymore and I can't sneak a new one in. Damn!

Can I have the box? I just want to look at it and pretend. Maybe even sniff it.
