| Howdy, all.
So, as my name suggests I'm a new guy. I've been following this forum for a few years, but since I'm not an expert I mostly just read threads and look at pictures and nod along with the sage advice of others, and save up for guitars I see posted on here. I created my account maybe a few months ago because I saw Woody's Deacon and it was beautiful so I wanted to PM him about it, but haven't tried to reply to anything until now.
That's when I did a lot of reading and discovered that the new guys can only post in here, which is fine with me, sort of, except I can't even reply to other new people posts.
I would like to thank the guy who I just bought a guitar from on the classified forum. He's been very polite and kind and fair and he even took some extra photos for me.
So, what's a guy to do around here to get some posting privileges?
I suppose I could list my guitars or something but there's probably another way. What door do I knock on around here to get access to the magical conch? (reference to the Lord of the Flies)
I read the mantra, or... what's it called, the code of conduct for posting. I thought it was great and wish more forums had to rules like that. Especially great use of metaphor by the chap who wrote it, about the houses for nonsense being around the corner and a few blocks up. Great stuff.
