A smooth top made of two woven layers of carbon fiber sandwiched around an ultra-thin poplar core. For $400-600 I'd like to have it..who does the valuation on these guitars???

He has done the price point estimates on all of the guitars in the auction, which average around $6,000 across the collection, with the Santa Cruz PJ coming in the highest at $11,500, and the Adamas the lowest at $500. Begging almost as he is trying to make some kind of punk, derogatory statement (like some ilk do).. especially considering that the $5,000 guitars posted there are definitely not, regardless of his crazy opinionated estimation, 10x the value of the Adamas. Clearly insulting. Maybe we should send a few of the west side boys over to have a sit-down with ol' Eric.

Now you're all going to be bidding against me! I would say it should go for at least a $1000 if not 1500. There is also a Rainsong carbon fiber guitar on there valued at $2500 how do they get the big disparity in values???? BCam do you have an Adamas??? at the right price I would bid on it but since I already have a few Adamii if you want it I'll bow out just post pics if you win it

If you wanted to add an Adamas to your collection this could be a good one if the price stays low,$800 or less would be a great deal most go for well over a $1000 and the couple W597's I've seen online are $1700 and up.I believe this is a mid bowl with the cross weave carbon fiber top and good electronics. I'm watching the auction to mostly for curiousities sake and they have a Guild JF65 12 string that's real cool. I have an Adamas 1187-247 that outshines every other 6 string so I don't need another (IMG_1737.jpg) Attachments ---------------- IMG_1737.jpg (61KB - 0 downloads)

It was a nice guitar but certainly not deserving of the name Adamas.

I didn't check them all but the others, which have much higher estimates, have current bids much lower than their estimates. Suffice it to say, I'm not bidding.
