There is also a pretty good article in the new "FRETS" magazine about Ovation guitars. I am surprised Witko hasn't grabbed this one since the cover story is about the Jimi Hendrix of the Uke, Jake Shimabukuro.

Oddly enough one poster had the same name as one of our guy's! Nicely done. The guy asking the question tried to stop the flood of praise it was so much! Randy

It got to the point where the moderators and one of the editors of AG threatened to shut the board down. I do have to say that that board (the AG Gear board) is one of the meanest, nastiest, most snobbish and sarcastic boards that I visit. (maybe that's why I like it....LOL).

To begin with, they won't accept a registration with a Hotmail address for the excuse (and that's what it is) of holding down the spam, etc. I have a Hotmail address and it works for everything else I do on-line, but the AG forum. I don't even go there anymore and registering is out of the question. It is a non-forum as far as I am concerned. A huge part of my professional life is affected by topics in certain forums, but the OFC is the only one I have registered for and I post once in a while because you all are friendly and logical in your posts and opinions. I have a lot of other guitars besides these Ovations, but don't talk about 'em because this is about the O's. If you would like to see outpourings of ignorance and boundless rude talk, by the way, go look at Gearslutz sometime; high end audio forum. Anyway, cool forum here at Ovation Fan Club.
