Nice bass. That's the way those old Rickenbackers were fretted. Pretty cool ha? anyone else know of a 6 string guitar manufacturer other than Ric. who can help this guy out?
Have been seriously considering buying a ritter roya for something exotic, but this Dingwall looks interesting.
I will never be able to hit the low B string on a 6 string though. To bad too 6 strings like this one are the way to go to have all the notes a bass player could ever want!
I do like the spacing on this one though. I think one of these would be fun as 5 strings with the C string for me.

as for changing technique??? The only way to keep your wrist from poping is to straigten it out significantly while playing so this would mean youd have to have the neck at almost shoulder height and then your arm cramps from holding it so high. I know I've tried it! Good luck dude.

Randy, the Dingwall is terrific. I had this one made custom for me (basically the color and a few other little oddities) but there stock stuff is pretty awesome to. They have 4-5-6 strings and will set them up however you want, note wise. Also choice of fret size, height, etc....lots of little options at a very affordable price.
