| Jees Charlie I feel for ya man! I have uncles down there and They always ride these out? Best of luck bud, stay dry, and remember as a last resort you can use your ovations for boats! just use the little rubber plugs to fill the sound holes or duct tape! Randy |

Location: Florida | The storm has stalled, has not moved appreciably since last nite.
Three quarters of Palm Beach (we cant)County is without power.
I have power ... dunno how. Outside, the wind is not too bad. Rain is steady-eddy. We're blustery, but thats it... but it won't cease.
The night is dark. Not a light to be seen. Transformers have stopped exploding. So the next one I hear is likely to be the one behind my house.
They're saying power crews will not go out until Monday at the soonest. |

Location: Ft. Lauderdale, Florida | Hey Charlie B. down here in Ft. Lauderdale, we lost power sometime around midnight Saturday ... Im just east of I-95 . House is shuttered well and 6 boats at my small marina out back are all fine... Wind sounds like a freight train at times and this is coming to you on my emergency 12v battery -> 110v inverter power system... Pretty cool...
Ever see such as big eye in a hurricane before ??? Francis is slowly moving away I see on the online weather radar sites... So we should get some relief later today or tommorrow...
Stay safe, AB |
