could be a re-finish, but this appears to be a gloss black Deacon, which if it's a factory finish is unusual

Paul, therw were a few of these put out. I think some gloss white and gloss cherry stain too. Not many. As they say, "It's a rare bird...."

I have owned three of these but i dont believe there were more than a handful made.I also have a gloss white breadwinner that im sure is rare.All factory finishes.
