Location: SoCal | Last September, purchased my 2nd 1658 Custom Legend 12-string. Although this has the best neck of my group, decided to sell it and keep the -4 natural. The -4 is the one that I had all of the problems with due to UPS damage - had a full top refinish.
The one for sale (or trade) is a 1982 dark sunburst highlighting the carved walnut bridge, trc, and abalone. It is very, very good condition - only exception is a thin finish crack from the bridge to the base. The crack has been sealed and buffed - difficult to see. I have attached two pictures from the seller when I bought it. The crack is to the right of the centerline (photo before I sealed and buffed the crack). What looks like wear on the upper ridge of the headstock is actual glare from the flash. The 1658 has the stacked vol/tone. It comes with a good OHSC.
One of the OFC'ers is considering and has first right. If he decides not to go forward, first offer of $700 (plus shipping) gets it.
