Location: Waurika OK | A fellow had a Guild guitar that he was pretty sure belonged to Josh White, Josh was a personal friend of the family.
Supposedly going to be a Josh White signature.
It turned out to be one of his guitars and Guild had intended it to be a signature, but did not get it done.
The show brought out that the the next year Ovation did bring out the Ovation Josh White Signature guitar. Also pointed out that Ovation was the first guitar company to honor an African American with a signature guitar. |

| I am pretty sure Charlie was a first in many things! Quite a Family there Bill.
I think this fact is just another one of the reasons Ovation's deal with the total "lack of respect they rightfully deserve". The other companies know just how origianl this thinking was and still is they never want to admit it.
If you let this brightly colored, loud, fast moving dog lose no one will talk about all the other dogs that are still on the traditional leash. |
