Hi All,

I am guessing some of you might know the answer to this...

I have a 1979-1980 Ovation Legend 1617 (serial is 207***) and I am wondering if the fingerboard is supposed to be floating on this model. It looks as though this one "might have" been glued at some point (it is currently loose) but I can't tell for sure.

Can anyone verify that this is or is not meant to be floating?

Thanks in advance. :)

Wow.. that was fast. :)

That clears that up.... Thanks!

Is there any bare wood under there if I use wood glue? What would be the best adhesive?
