| I am trying to get more info on my guitar. Purchased new 2003, sunburst, Korean alleged "Anniversary Edition". Has abalone inserts & abalone binding, like to verify what the top is made from. Trying to value this guitar today. Serial #3106571. If anyone has any info, I'd like to hear from you. No help from Ovation in CT. |

Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | Generally on a Celebrity the top is made out of Laminate (plywood).
If it had a solid wood top it would have an "S" at the end of the model number.
The serial number from that era of Asia guitars does not contain any tracking information.
As to value... HERE is one on eBay that the Seller is asking over $400 for...
Whether he gets it is another story.
