lol, that thing would be beyond useless out here. Most out this way are using either big honda's or at the very least a 10-11 hp blower. Anything less, forget it.

Reminds me of my first winter in North Dakota. It's easy to get lost when the snow covers up the street signs and you can't see the houses from inside the car. At least someone plowed the roads, Newf.

I lived in the Colorado mountains for 10 years. After a really good snow, the plows would do a nice job on the road, but then I'd end up with a six foot high by five foot thick wall of compressed snow, ice blocks really, across the end of the driveway. Even an 11 horsepower Toro blower won't go through a wall of ice. Neither will a snow shovel. It takes a pick and shovel, or a neighbor with a big front-end plow. That's a lot of snow, Newf. I never saw it like that in Colorado except at the top of Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park in May on opening day.

1978 - Dubuque Iowa - 44" in two days...woke up to a wall of snow covering the apartment windows and most of the front door....drifts over my head...made for fun walking...but, got signed by ACA that night at the club so it wasn't a total loss...

Nuh-uh. Go back to page 1. It's clear that JeffW had nearly 19 feet of snow. You just gotta be patient and move the scroll bar around to see it. ;)
